Well Person Care

For a lot of queer and trans folks, routine gynecological care can be a minefield of assumptions, misgendering, and information that's irrelevant at best and incorrect at worst. At Lumen, you'll work with a nonbinary midwife whose patient-centered, trauma-informed approach maintains the safety and dignity of you and your loved people. We can do STI and cervical cancer screening, breast/chest exams, run labs for other gynecological symptoms you may be experiencing, and connect you with prescriptions or referrals if you're looking for contraception.

Lumen works with Midwife RX to fill prescriptions for clients–-you'll be referred to a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority who will review your chart and any relevant lab results. I hope to add in-house contraceptive care once the Massachusetts Department of Public Health finalizes CPM licensure in 2025. If further diagnostic care is needed, for example a colposcopy, I will refer you to a collaborating physician.

Pricing: $125 for the visit, additional fees for certain labs may apply.
